“All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”
The phrase above is a quote from Julian of Norwich, who was given a vision from God that ultimately all sin and suffering would be overcome and redeemed.
It’s a profound trust in God’s love and a hopeful assurance that in the end God’s love will be victorious and “all manner of things shall be well.”
My experience on a smaller scale of things was similar since I had an unswerving trust in God that even though I couldn’t move my arm without severe pain, and I didn’t even think I’d be able to raise my arm again. God gave me an expert Physical Therapist who literally put me back together again, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually. He is a lovely Christian, well-versed in the grief and trauma of the injuries he sees and deals with every day.
After six months of gruelling, pain-filled exercises at the office and at home, I’m so happy to say that I have full mobility. I thought I’d never see this day. God has drawn me closer to Himself, and Chris and I are closer to each other.
