Dear Friends,

Due to the quarantine restrictions, our plans have changed slightly. We have decided to go to our cottage on the Isle of Wight for the two weeks of isolation. The place is empty as it’s up for sale. But we need to look for another house. Please pray that we would be able to find something that’s rentable as we cannot rent the cottage out any longer due to repairs that are needed.

Our long time friend and neighbour from the IOW is kindly rallying the Church in Ryde to get some things together so that we can stay for the two weeks. We will have an inflatable mattress and other necessities I think 🙂

Having looked into the restrictions, it seems I can go to the doctor’s appointment and at least start the ball rolling regarding tests. Please would you pray that they would expedite them and that I would be able to get back to Portugal sooner rather than hanging around for weeks?

Teresa after her healing

Over the past weeks, we have chatted with many people on the beach. We are sensing through Holy Spirit that He just wants us not to hold back, but to tell people about salvation and the Good News of Jesus. So, we have been going for it, and everyone that we speak to now gets the Gospel. The time is short, and we sense His urgency. In the current season, we are living in; we are not too worried about being rejected.

Today was no different. Teresa was walking on the beach with her three rescue dogs. A lovely middle-aged lady. As we got talking to her, I sensed that she needed healing in a joint. I wasn’t sure where but suspected her hips were out of line in some way.

I asked the question to which she replied; “only my shoulder, which I injured after a fall.” I wondered if she would allow me to put my hand on her shoulder. I did, and I commanded it to be healed in Jesus’s name, for all pain to leave.  She said; “I’m not a believer!” I told her that Jesus believes in her and that it doesn’t matter. She tested it out and was a lot better but with some restriction still. I asked her to put her arms straight out and saw that one was shorter than the other by about an inch. I commanded it to grow out, and it did in front of her eyes.  As we finished our conversation and was leaving, I asked her not to be afraid to use it. She then lifted both her arms up very gingerly and couldn’t believe that she had no pain. I told her she no longer needed to go for physiotherapy. She walked away, thrilled and in awe at what God had done.

Thanks for praying. We so appreciate you all.

Love and Blessings, Linda and Chris
