A while back, we were invited by a large church in Lisbon to set-up and train people to minister in an “Encounter Room.” The Spirit of God so impacted one of the pastors that visited that encounter room, and while praying about a healing conference he was about to hold in his church in Aveiro, suddenly thought of us.

We went to Aveiro at the end of last month and had the privilege of witnessing many healings.

On the first day we got chatting to the owner of a grocery store, he said there were some evil spirits there. and after praying around his shop, we led him to Jesus.

In the afternoon at the church, Linda introduced a young catholic lady to Jesus. It was her first time of ever going to an Evangelical meeting. She loved it and stayed for the rest of the evening.

On the second day of the conference, a national newspaper decided to come and do a report at the meeting. The paper made the statement that the Wesleyan Methodist church sang and prayed with emotion. This is so unusual for the people that attend the Catholic church here. It was hilarious for us to find ourselves emblazoned on the pages of this newspaper. We were not expecting it.

There was a steady stream of people coming into the encounter room desperate for more of God, for a healing touch, a breakthrough. Some just poured out their hearts about past hurts and disappointments. We talked and prayed with them for eight hours. It was so moving and such a tender, sweet time. We are so thankful to have had this experience to give out and to empower others to do the same. We will be invited in the new year to do this again soon.

Thanks for your prayers and support friends. We’ll be posting more testimonies soon.  Meanwhile, we wish you all a very blessed and peaceful Christmas.
